Dear Future Home Buyers,
I had been in the valley for a little over a year when I decided that my job was good, I liked the desert weather, and this was the right place for me to put down some roots. I was renting a home in the Dynamite Mountain Ranch area and really grew to love the neighborhood I was in when I decided to start looking for houses. Being a first-time-home-buyer, I, of course, started out all wrong by simply driving around different neighborhoods and looking at all the "for sale" signs. But, in my stumbling, I came across some flyers of Marc’s and decided to set up a viewing, just to get my feet wet. I sent an email and in response was contacted promptly by a friendly voice on the phone. Marc helped me set up my own online search for the exact kinds of homes I wanted to check out. Then using the results that I got online we set up a few different outings to check out the homes. I have a crazy work schedule, but Marc was great about setting things up on my days off, which was awesome. And, since it was my first time buying, let’s just say I had a million questions. Marc was great about listening, setting me up with referrals for mortgage brokers, insurance agents, and so much more that I either needed along the way or use now with my new home (like the pool guy!). Marc kept me up to date as things happened in every step of the somewhat extensive process. Even when things seemed overwhelming at times, Marc always was there to simplify things and remind me that I was the one in charge of the process. Everyone always told me that buying a first home is a nightmare…ok, maybe the mortgage brokers, the lenders, and cleaning up after a move, but it was really a dream come true to be able to find exactly the home I wanted and make it my own!
